Cosmo Noodle Bar, Melaka Raya

Me and sister went to Cosmo Noodle Bar to have light dinner before i went to KL for training. No idea what to have for our dinner, but due to the strong sun and hot weather, then we decided to look for air-con restaurant. Then immediately i think of Cosmo Noodle Bar, good environment and sister never been there yet.

My detox flower tea. Especially ordered this because i already few days didn’t able to go toilet. :-D Feel so good having tea. I love tea so much. :-D

Vegetables in oyster sauce. Not that nice. Would not order this again. :-P

This pork mini burger is good! The bread is being fried a bit i guess, because it was a bit crunchy at the top layer, but soft inside. The small mini pork chop is juicy and licking good!!!

The close-up of the mini pork burger. Looks delicious isn’t it? :-P

I forgot how much the total bill come with 2 drinks, mini pork burger and one vege. But i remembered it is not exceeded RM30.

(This post took me so long time because of the photo loading -.-”’)

Italiannies, 1-Utama

Initially i planned to follow Seafield toll, passby Sunway to go Damansara, because i more familiar with that route. But Dr. Ong taught me another way which he said better and faster, using Damansara toll. I followed his direction and managed to reach Damansara Uptown, our office area. But i missed out the left turn and overpassed the flyover and reached Eastin Hotel. Then we made a U-turn and Nee managed to bring us to 1-U subsequently.

We round 2-3 floors of the car park many times but not managed to get a parking lot. Damn sien. Entered the parking bay at old wing, but parked at new wing pulak.

Then we started our shopping. Hopping from one shop to another. We spent quite some time at Colors. Me and May Lian managed to bought one blouse from colors and Nee bought a colorful skirt. hehe… I start to like COLORS.

Another shop that we spent much time is Padini Concept Store. Crazy aren’t we? Melaka also has Padini Concept Store at Dataran Pahlawan and yet we still can shop like crazy at 1-U. I bought one shorts and one cute kiddy handbag from PDI. Why? Because May Lian has staff purchase which entitled us to get 40% discount! So, why not take this opportunity to buy leh? So, you understand why we bought so much here. hahaha…

At around 2-3pm something, we were hunting for good food. Finally we decided to have Italiannies. We really do not know where it is located although we did passby before that. But i tell you, 1-U is really superb. They do have an electronic touch map on the screen. You can easily find your desire restaurant/shop easily.

Here we go….our lunch at Italiannies.
Don’t know what oil is that. First time stepped in to Italian restaurant. Like very “sua gu” like that.

Complimentary. Garlic bread and don’t know what bread. Served with don’t know what oil again. Feeling weird. Three of us did not touch a single and returned back to them, say not to waste. hahaha…Actually we returned because we have ordered more than enough, worried that could not finish our meals later on.
Classic Pizza. We were a bit shocked when the pizza served to us, because it was too big, and we started to worry if we could finish it. Okay, basically the pizza is not bad. Full with toppings and cheeses. Salmon Fettucine. The waiter added the cheeses on top when he served us this. The cheesy quite strong for those who don’t like cheese. But i simply love this. Both Classic Pizza and Salmon Fettucine. We not managed to finish the pizza. Left two slices. Initially we did order a slice of cake, which the pic looks so tempting. But luckily, the waiter told us that the cake was sold out. haha…Me and Nee at Italiannies.May Lian, me and Nee….

After that, we continue our shopping spree again. Until around 6pm something, three of us really felt tired of walking, May Lian kept asking for Starbucks coffee. We really walked up and down looking for Starbucks. 1-U is too big!!!! Finally we managed to find one of the Starbucks at old wing (near Jusco).
Damn relaxing, having Frapuccino and sitting down chit chatting, while letting my legs resting awhile. But we were the group who left Starbucks within half to one hour time. The rest of people can sit there for hours, because of what? They just utilising their wi-fi. We did not have our dinner because we had late and full lunch that day. But Nee bought the deep fried spicy chicken chop from Shihlin Taiwan Snack.
Went back home at about 9pm. Initially we wanted to follow Damansara toll back to Melaka. But Nee missed out the turn. So, follow the most safest way back, Sunway route, follow Seafield. Hehe..The place i most familiar with. :-P
We reached Melaka at about 11.15pm and i reached home at 11.45pm.

Nadeje and Coconut House

Second day, we continue food hunting and walk walk around. Initially we wanted to have chicken rice ball at Chung Hwa Coffee Shop, but it was too packed, the crowd was taking umbrella queueing outside the coffee shop. I gave up and i brought them to have nyonya laksa at Donald Lily. Ching ordered chicken pongteh rice, while me and Angel ordered nyonya laksa. The nyonya laksa was my all time fav!! hahaha.. Angel loves the laksa too, commented that the laksa was very spicy and tasty. The ayam pongteh rice also quite tasty with the black bean sauce.

Me and Angel at Donald Lily.

After that, i suggested to have a walk at Jonker Street as we did not really have a good time at Jonker Street last night. It was a very hot sunny afternoon. Angel able to buy a very nice and simple dress from Jonker Street at RM55, claimed imported dress. I was able to buy cheap short at only RM25. After the walk, i brought them to Nadeje to rest (after under the hot sun) and drink.

We ordered two pieces of mille crepes, one original and one rum raisin. The above one is original flavour. Both Ching and Angel fall in love with the first bite! You see, i bet you love this, as i love mille crepe so much too! Ching tried to count the layers. I counted again from the close up photo that i took. I counted about 21-22 layers. How about you, Ching?

This is rum raisin flavour. The taste is really good!! Equally good with the original one. In fact, i prefer rum raisin than original. GOOD, GOOD and GOOD!!! I would definitely have this again.

We really have a good rest in Nadeje as we sit there doing nothing, just having our tea, mille crepes, chit chatting for about two hours before we went to Dataran Pahlawan for walk walk. After the walk, we went to have Bunga Raya Porridge. The taste of the porridge and “mien fen gau” are always good to me. Angel claimed that she can cook better than this. Hahaha…

We went to Mahkota Parade to walk walk after our dinner. After all, i still think that Dataran Pahlawan is better than Mahkota Parade. Maybe it is new, i guessed.

No idea where to go after that, Ching and me thought of Coconut House. But too bad, most of the signature dish and drinks are out of order due to lack of “raw material”. I was quite dissappointed, really. After all, i ordered oreo milkshake.

My oreo milkshake, so cooling… Felt so cool after the drink. hahaha…

Angel ordered fried asparagus with parmesan cheese. Taste not bad, but a bit salty salty due to the parmesan cheese, i guess.

After about an hour in Coconut House and both of them still have room to eat, i suggested to bring them to Pak Putra’s chicken tandoori. Called PL and she able to join us. We ordered one chicken tandoori and one cheese naan, thinking to order more when PL arrive. After the chicken tandoori arrived, i tried to order another one, but the waiter said already finish. I was quite surprised, and at the same time very sad because i know one chicken tandoori just not enough for four of us, because it was too tasty!!! PL ordered another cheese naan and roti canai. Angel was saying that the dhall sauce (for the cheese naan) was super good. The cheese naan also very soft and tasty. The chicken tandoori also have good comments from them. haha. I was quite happy after able to introduce them such a nice food for them.

After the Pak Putra, PL saying that she wanted to go second round supper, which was satay celup. Initially we went to Capital Satay Celup, but there were people queueing up (again…). We did not want to wait, so we gave up and went to Ong Kim Wee one. I really full and could not eat anymore. But the satay celup smell was so strong and tempting until i could not resist. I have been so long have not eat satay celup.

After the satay celup, PL decided to stay overnight at my house, so we can have more chit-chatting session, as Ching and Angel were going back the next day.

We went back home after the satay celup. Chit chatting (besides Angel because she was too tired) until about 3am.

Simply Fish, Melaka Raya

081007 ~ our first anniversary…errr…we do have few anniversaries. But yesterday was the day we vow our marriage @ Tian Hou Gong Temple last year. (^_^) Time flies really fast, but i still feel like in the mood of love. Loving each day with hubby companion.
We had our dinner (not candlelight dinner please, i do not fancy about this, just a nice dinner will do) @ Simply Fish. I’d been there few times and i totally love the food there.

Our drinks. Hubby ordered banana milkshake. In fact, i really got a bit surprised when he ordered this. But the taste really not bad. The fragrance of the banana is nice. I ordered ice cappuccino. Honestly, the drinks here are really not bad and the price is reasonable.

Hubby took this. Chef favourite salmon. This has been marked as favourite. The salmon flesh is so fresh. I just could not how to describe in word. Once the salmon go through my throat, i could taste the freshness and sweet. It is just taste so heavenly. The side dish is the fragrance rice which fried with “kismis”. It tastes good too!

My flamingo hot pick’s. Served with the frying pan. Before served to me, the waitress used the “fire” to make the prawns and fillet more “grilled”.

The portion of this is quite big. The fillet portion is really big, togather with three prawns, fragrance fried rice with ‘kismis” and chips. I can 100% ensure you that the seafood they are using are totally fresh and good quality. I think this is the reason why they could expand thier business from one shop lot to two combined shop lots! Simply fish, is the only restaurant that serves fresh seafood meals in town.

I truly enjoyed this simple dinner. Happy. (^O.O^)

The Windmill, Melaka Raya

We cutted a voucher buy one free one hot and spicy fish n chips from a advertisement magazine. The expiry date is March 15, 2007. So, we went to have our dinner yesterday. It has been very very very long time we didn’t go to The Windmills, located at Melaka Raya one. I missed the environment there. The last visit was at The Windmill, Jusco Melaka.

Hot n Spicy fish n chips (RM10.80 buy one free one). Honestly, the quality is not as good as before. Not enough hot and spicy as per the name. The skin is not crunchy. Definitely not going to have this in the future. Perhaps, i should try others. But do not expect too much as this is buy one free one promotion!!
